edge android outdated chromium version and security issues

as you can see , the chromium version of android edge is chrome 77 which is released in September 2019. It is almost 6 months ago , and the current chromium version is 81 .Is edge android have security updates while having the outdate build?

@androiidedge Thanks for reaching out, and great question. Yes, we do regularly merge with the Chromium Project code, as well as port security fixes in between builds.

@Deleted May I ask how frequently the latest chromium is merged. I am eager to switch to edge on android but I don't want to miss on the CSS prefers-color-scheme or any other chromium features for that matter.

Hi,
Edge on Android is now on the latest version, the same as Edge desktop, everything is new and up to date.
