Hi,
Some Edge Insider updates ago something changed in the browser behavior. If I have multiple Edge windows open, now dragging a page link from one Edge window into another always opens up a new tab in the target Edge window. This means I soon have an Edge window with 20+ tabs open.
What is causing this behavior? Can it be disabled? I cannot find a setting that causes this, and searching Google does not help either.
Edge Dev Insider, latest build.

SolutionFinally, I found the answer – it's an idiotic change, done by desing:

"According to the above, (Chrome) developers have decided that URL's/hyperlinks dragged from one tab (web page) onto another tab/window in a new tab should open a new tab rather than navigating to it in the tab it was dragged to."
Here's an add-on to disable it:
