@HotCakeX there is no good extension for this work and without extension we feel very very bore by "copying the video URL and open third party apps then paste url and at last downloading will start.

Okay so after digging more into this, it looks like in chrome extension store, you can't find any good extension to download YouTube videos with because:
but with Microsoft's extension/addons store, extension developers can host their extension in there and don't let Google stop them which is a good thing :)
https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons?hl=en-US
so I went there and found this extension:
https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/icdodnoipobociadpmenebbhekkacoog?hl=en-US
and went to YouTube to test it, it works!
it doesn't appear to support 1080p videos but there are other extensions in Microsoft addons store that you can try, I only tried this one extension. if you search for phrases like "download youtube" you'll find them
https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/search/download%20youtube?hl=en-US
Back to your topic, Yes I agree with you, if Edge supported this built in it would be useful and make life easier for us

@HotCakeX we can still only download YouTube videos with the help of this extension, not from other sites , you have a good team
Make a small extension for video downloading to make our life easier, which we can download from many sites ,thanks for replay

I'm not the developer of these extensions, just suggesting them :)
I personally use this, it's freeware and open-source. it supports YouTube and almost All websites you can think of, even rare ones that nobody even heard of, because it analyzes web pages for videos.
it also supports private videos.
I strongly suggest to try it, all it takes is to copy the URL to Windows clipboard, doesn't even need to paste it anywhere.
