Display tabs on a separate line

I do not know if it's possible and feasible
But could an option "display tabs on a separate line" be added (as for IE) ?

Because when we have a big screen for example, the address bar is very long and it is useless
And a small part of the page is "hidden" with tabs on a separate line

IE was really well thought out and designed on all reports

Hi @tistou, I am not sure what you mean by displaying tabs on a separate line.  In Internet Explorer, the tabs are all in a tab band just under the address bar.  In Microsoft Edge, the tabs are all in a tab band just above the address bar.  Could you give me more information about what you are asking for?  Thanks - Elliot

@tistou, you are asking for the ability to merge the tab band with the address bar to save space?  Would a vertical tab band help you in the same way?  Thanks - Elliot

Yes, have the same option as in IE (option which is very appreciable)
It avoids having a very long address bar with a big screen and we gain visibility on the displayed page

I do not see how could be a vertical band for the address bar

Have the tab on the side and the vertical of the screen ?
It may be interested maybe people, but it will hide part of the screen too
