Hello insiders, our big news this week is that we officially released native ARM64 builds! These builds are only available in Canary for now, but will be coming to other channels soon. Native ARM64 builds of Edge will run much faster and much use less battery life on ARM64 devices. If you’re running Canary on an ARM-based machine, you should get the ARM version automatically with an update. As for our regular release, we’re bringing the Dev channel up to 80.0.328.4. All of the changes in it worth noting:
Improved reliability:
Changed behavior:
Finally, like last week, we’ve got a few known issues remaining:
As always, we appreciate all the usage and feedback!

Is there any way to disable the new extra tab that now opens by default even when I have just two custom pages entered in settings as 'Open a specific page or pages'. This behaviour has only started with the latest Dev build.
I can't spot any way to stop this happening.

Both bugs submitted via the Smiley already.
Bug #1
New bug in this build that I'd not had before: a black screen when moving a Chromium Edge window to a second monitor. Felt like a combination of old bugs:
Bug #2
A weird taskbar icon mismatch (though this has lasted 10+ builds, even with the old Edge icon) on two machines running Chromium Edge:
-- Main window: taskbar icon does not have Edge Dev sticker
-- F12 developer tools window: taskbar icon has the Edge Dev sticker

@ikjadoon Bug #1 has struck again, this time after right-clicking. It also could be random and it feels like a response to my actions, though. (note the time vs the first screenshot)
To confirm, I've never had this bug until today's build.

Multiple issues were addressed, including syncing in the Edge Canary update.
Please let us know if you run into and troubles with the latest build.
Thanks for your patience,

Hello,
Still no fix for the Favorites Menu, closing when we open a new tab with [Ctrl + clic] or with middle-clic?
And about downloads, we still can't choose what we want to do: we can only save the downloaded file, but not execute directly from the browser.

@HotCakeX I can confirm that when you middle-click favorites in the favorites dropdown of the green circle (I don't use the one with the orange circle) the dropdown closes whereas it stays open when you use Ctrl+Click. This is on the dev build.

@HotCakeX For me, it's the same as @adrianghc. And with the orange circle, it always close (with middle-clic and with Ctrl+clic.

@josh_bodner I re-inflicted graphics glitch issues, crash issues and black screen issues on all versions of EDGE since 79, for a few hours the problem is gone in the current dev. Solution to stay stable but with poor GPU performance on DX9 .... Radeon 520 video card, same problem occurs on Intel CPU.

@ikjadoon "By closing the GPU process in the browser task manager, the browser unfroze itself & the UI returned"
I am suffering from the same problem here in all versions of edge since the upgrade to Windows 1909. I have to do the same thing to close the GPU process.

Any update on when we might have ClickOnce support?
This is now about the only thing i need to go back to Edge or IE for.
I presume its in the road map but i don't see it as an item on here at all:

I did a system restore today to a manual restore point I created earlier the same day and it nuked most of my Edge cookies (got logged out of all sites) and reset some Edge things to default: new tab page, settings->System. Happened on Canary 335 but I'd assume current Dev will have the same behavior.
I believe when I created this manual restore point, I had Edge running so this could've contributed to this but I don't think I ever experience this thing in Chrome or Firefox. Rather annoying and hopefully not intended behavior.
cookies are part of the data that websites save. they can be very unwanted, like 3rd party cookies, and most cookies are used for tracking purposes.
so if my computer gets infected or a malicious website saves some data on my computer, I would normally want the system restore to remove that data.

@HotCakeX thanks for the update. Must have missed that one.
Just found it in edge://flags/, once switched on it works fine. Thanks.
