I have the same issue with extensions not updating, either automatically or manually. The only way I can update my extensions is by removing them and then reinstalling (losing all settings and/or data for that extension in the process). I have reported this previously both here on the forum and via the "smiley" button in the browser. At one point this did work but it has been broken for several dev versions/builds now.
The Devs should give more priority to this

This is now the second Dev release proudly proclaiming this feature but it never shows up 🤷:male_sign:
Hi,
do you mean the open tabs sync?
it's implemented by part of the controlled feature roll out

@HotCakeX I let our extensions team know about everybody here who's experiencing problems getting their extensions to update, and they've been looking into it, but I don't have anything to report right now.
Our new tab page team has also been working on the issues there with content not appearing in the news feed, and it looks like the fix they made last week didn't fix it for everybody, so they're still investigating.
While I'm at it, I should probably also mention that we're aware of the issue where an extra work account is being created for some users, as well as an issue where video on certain websites appears scrambled or blocky. We hope to have fixes for them ready next week.

@josh_bodner Are there any reports of the Report Feedback link not working on macOS in this build? I was going to report a website where I'm seeing a rendering issue but every time I click the button the browser immediate crashes. On Windows I'm seeing black screenshots - but the window appears here at least.

@josh_bodner Not getting any crashes but my extensions still don't work. They are fine on the beta (see attached) but the last 2 Dev updates have killed my reddit experience. Not much in the grand scheme of things but this is one of the reasons I jumped from Chrome/Vivaldi and Firefox. What is different between the 2 versions in regards to extension support?

Hi,
Which one of your extensions don't work?
and as for the difference between Edge Beta and Dev channels, the former is supposed to be more stable and less buggy while the latter is more experimental, also as you know Beta is on ver 78 and Dev is on ver 79 (soon to be upgraded to ver80), and there are a lot of changes and differences between each version.

@HotCakeX Thanks for your reply. Reddit hover text and a discontinued app called Alien Hover (the one in the attachments) that is unpacked via developer options.
