Hello Insiders! Dev is back on its regular release schedule with today’s build 112.0.1722.7, which includes a variety of fixes, new features, new API, and new policies. For more details on the changes, check out the highlights below.

@Eric_E Any updates on the flags or configurability of the rounded corner floating page container? 

I see that in 1722.11 we start to see more options in the Appearance menu related to profile icon location and rounded tabs, which is awesome to see! Would love to see the configurable rounded corner to come soon.

Hello, I am seeing across platforms with the most current of Edge Dev ver that being able to show icon only no longer is saving for my bookmarks on my Favorites Bar. I am seeing this both on my Windows 10 PC and my macOS ARM laptop too. I can right click on a bookmark in the favorties bar to show icon only. Then when I restart Edge Dev I am seeing the full name.

I would like to request a new feature for the Edge browser app on mobile (Android iOS) that would greatly improve the user experience when using the (Microsoft SwiftKey) keyboard. The feature I am requesting is an automatic scroll up function that would ensure that any page requiring text input would be scrolled up so that the text input field is visible above the top edge of the keyboard.

As you know, many users find it frustrating when they need to enter text into a field but are unable to see what they are typing because the keyboard covers the field. By automatically scrolling up the page, users would be able to see the input field and enter their text without any issues.

I believe that this feature would greatly enhance the usability of the Edge browser app on mobile, particularly for those who use the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard. I hope that you will consider my request and include this feature in future updates to the browser.

BUG in Edge Dev Version 112.0.1722.23 (Official build) dev (64-bit):

(Note: this bug appears when NOT using "rounded tabs")

The following screenshots show three rendering issues with the tabs in Edge Dev Version 112.0.1722.23 (Official build) dev (64-bit):

1. There is an unwanted empty space above the tab bar.
2. The selected tab does not have the right background color.
3. The vertical border of the tab is distorted.

ISSUE: scrolling through a pdf-file is much less smooth with the new Acrobat Viewer:

When the "New PDF Viewer" flag (edge://flags/#edge-new-pdf-viewer) is enabled, and therefore the Acrobat Viewer-version is enabled, scrolling through a pdf-file is much less smooth than with the current pdf-viewer. Please make sure that when you transition to the new viewer version, scrolling remains as smooth as it was before.

Odd, on the morning of March 29th on my Windows 10 Pro Edge Dev just upgraded to version: Version 112.0.1722.23. Where is .27? Also, with .23 is the fav icon bug fixed where the show icon only will stay? Thanks!

Hi, Update - currently Stable version -> 111.0.1661.54 Edge. provides the ability to hide the Discover! button in the settings!

Microsoft fixed it and it's worth emphasizing that it works well!

Please turn off pin tab groups by default. The issue now is that it's impossible to use tab groups and start the browser with just a new tab. Save with pinned tabs. Can you please just add an option if I want to restore pinned tabs and tab groups?
