The crashing is a known issue. Unfortunately, the fix for it was in 1439, so the best thing to do at the moment is use Canary since it has the fix.

@LisaS - if this was indeed a known issue, why even bother releasing it. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting any other type of feedback since nobody would be able to use the browser long enough to get useful experience.

@dejan_008 exactly. makes no sense pushing a known broken build up a level just for it to crash quick enough that nothing else can be tested.

I understand the frustration. I do not make these decisions. We will likely fix it next week.

Please urge the decision makers to reconsider. This is bad enough that you are destroying the Dev channel on MacOS. Your users have no choice but to leave for Canary or Beta, or for other browsers, and may never come back.

There are probably still users who have not restarted for the upgrade yet and can be saved if you would stop rolling this build out or, better yet, push a rollback or a fix right away.

Yes. agree with w/ Steve.

MS team please take this incident seriously. Non-stop crashes are disappointing to users.
You might lose users.

An official guide to migrate from Dev to another instance from other channels would be great. Currently, I have to manually set up a new Canary instance.
Thank you for the update. For now I've turned to the regular channel, but in situations when this happens is it possible for the team to have the ability to accelerate the release of a new build?
My Favorites are opening in New Tabs. I cannot find an option/flag to disable that.

Same here... 108.0.1450.0 and the crashes have stopped.
