Custom Search Engines for Edge on Chromium

I am curious if anyone knows if we'll get the ability to create custom search engines on Edge similar to google chrome:

The TechRepublic article seems to be describing something very similar to Edge's custom searches. You'll find the feature at the very bottom of the More ... > Settings > Privacy and services page under Address bar. There you'll see Manage search engines, where you can add new ones just as in the article you referred to.

You can also get to the settings page you want by typing (or copying and pasting) edge://settings/searchEngines into the address bar.

Hi@dlelacheur

it's already available in Edge

You have to go here: edge://settings/searchEngines

and select "add" from the top

the same guide you linked to also applies to Edge. in the same settings, you can see Edge automatically lists the websites you've visited and gives you an option to use their search engines.
