changing the UserAgent string in beta Edge

Copper Contributor

I am testing Edge Version 81.0.416.34 (Official build) beta (64-bit). I have a big problem with Google Hangouts Chat Rooms. When I try to follow invite link I get https://chat.google.com/error/noaccess , which says either I don't have a G-Suite account, which I do, or "your domain admin hasn’t enabled Chat for your team", which is also not true. BTW, we also have Office 365. On Firefox, Hangouts Chat Room works fine.

So I will change the UserAgent to match my Firefox browser. However, the UI for the DevTools has changed for beta Edge, and I can't figure out how to change the UserAgent.

I am running Win 10, 64 bit, latest update.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
use this extension, it works great.
this is just one of the many extensions out there that can change user agent and it's easier than using dev tools:
