I am not sure if this problem is because of a new update, but I just updated to 84.0.522.49 and it still persists. Every time I open Canary and try to search anything, I can type a few letters and then the app (not sure if it should be called an app on pc) Crashes immediately. I have cleared cache, history, restarted my pc, and Updated to the newest version. Open to all suggestions!

Hello,
Curiously, the same happens to me but in Beta! (My beta version is 85)
I don't know what its causing this.
Additionally, I fixed it for just one session:
1. Go to Settings > System
2. Select "Hardware acceleration" item
3. If its enabled, disable it; and if its disabled, enable this
that worked for me but just for a while. When I closed the browser again, and reopened it, the same problem :(
