Bug with touch and settings menu in the canary build.

Iron Contributor

On the canary build I cannot touch activate the three dot menu. If I use track pad or virtual trackpad it works. The dev build does not have this bug.

I have the same issue, been like this for the last two builds

@derekamoss I tried it on my Surface Pro 4 and I am in the same situation as you: the three dots do not work with touch in Canary but it does work in Dev.

Same issue here on surface pro 6, Canary as well
Hi,
I too have the same issue as other user's .

Hi Derek,

FYI: The 'bug' is not universal.  I, certainly, have not had this behavior, ever, with Canary or Dev.  It would be for the Team to determine why it is showing up in some machines or installations.  Have you let Microsoft Edge support know?

Cheers,
Drew

I also have the problem that that menu doesn't work on touch. While the profile and the send feedback options work fine that three dot menu doesn't. It also doesn't work with the pen either. For me it only seems to work with the actual mouse pointer. Canary build on Surface Pro 4

Same problem on Surface Pro 5. Canary.

Settings menu button does not work with Touch or Pen.

Works with Mouse or touchpad.

@VonCrisp Just got an email from the dev team saying they are working on it.

@Yorkshire_Ale365 76.0.161.0? I don't think it's out yet. I am still on 160 and the bug isn't fixed.

@Yorkshire_Ale365 You got 161 before I did. I finally got it half an hour ago. You are right, it fixes the touch bug. Thanks.

Downloaded it and sure is fixed. As I said they emailed me about it and said they were working on it so good deal!

Yep. Works with my Surface Pro 4 on touch now!!
