Broken Extensions

In this thread, let's gather info about browser extensions, we tried to install from Edge Insider or 3rd party extension Stores, and were either unable to install, or they don't work properly. Reporting such extensions will allow Edge Insider team to make the browser more compatible with broad extensions and scripts pool developed for Chrome browser derivatives.

One such extension I wanted to report as an example is Recent Tabs. It allows to toggle between last two or several lately used tabs. Its a convenient productivity tool to find and access the right tab quickly. In my test, any combos of shortcut keys to switch tabs entered into the Settings Box didn't work, and no tabs scrolling popup appeared.

Another broken extension, and very important one. ARC Welder allows to install and use various Android apps, in particular popular media center apps, in Windows using Chromium as base for video playback, and more... But installation of such extensions supporting apps is broken in Edge Chromium - thus contributing to alienating current Chrome fans contrary to Edge team goal to raise browser usage. Instead there's a tendency to overload browser Settings with various unneeded and duplicating OS shortcuts.

When installing Edge Dev release, it opens the release page listing among other things Known Issues. One issue is related to extensions support: "Extensions that require 3rd party programs installed don't work so far. We are working to address the issue."

This is unclear, can someone from Edge team give an example? Does that include Google NACL apps, and Android apps supported through ARC Welder? Will ALL 3rd party scripts for Chrome be supported via scripting extensions like TamperMonkey
