Black Browser Window When Trying to View video (Using Edge Dev)

Copper Contributor

Hi,

I'm experiencing a black browser window when visiting certain websites (Using the Surface Laptop 3 15" AMD Version). I have pinned down that the cause may be related to how the browser is handling the video. I am trying to visit these sites:

www.yuzu.com

www.crunchyroll.com

At first, I thought this would be related to the Netflix issue that people have experienced, but I am able to access and play videos on Netflix just fine. Any help would be appreciated. I've included screenshots of what the window is supposed to look like vs. what I am seeing.

Hi,
try turning off hardware acceleration at: edge://settings/system
in case of having set any flags, try resetting them at: edge://flags/

Thank you for you suggestions! I tried the suggestions that you mentioned and they did not solve the issue. Out of curiosity, I uninstalled Edge Dev and installed Edge Beta and the issue no longer persists. It looks like that resolved the issue.

Yw, Glad you figured it out :)
