Automatic user-agent switching on Google sites

Copper Contributor

Some of you may be aware of the incompatibilities and spam messages in Google sites when using Edge chromium. These includes Chrome extensions store warnings, canvas issues on certain websites and playback malfunction on Youtube. So I'm not holding on hope for Google to actually fix any of these so would be a great idea to use Chrome user agent in Google websites. Tho, it can be achieved in may ways, a native automatic switching would be optimal

I think Microsoft should retain its position and don't try to pose as other browsers until those websites recognize Edge as a distinct and worthy browser to make their websites compatible with.

Google (those websites) isn't precisely known for making it easier to the competitors. The issues here has affected Firefox and Opera too.

Okay what are the incompatibilities exactly?
that spam banner that Google shows, it should be taken care of by Edge's built in adblocker and tracking prevention. both of those features are capable of doing that.
