Is there anyway to automatically save and replace a pdf file upon changes? (By changes here I mean usually taking notes). This was possible in the legacy edge. Unfortunately it seems to be that without this feature note taking becomes too cumbersome in the new edge, since not only it asks where to save the file (starting very likely from a different directory) but also re-opens the file in page 1 upon saving.
Or is there another alternative?
