Any idea how to stop edge from downloading updates when on metered WIFI?

Any idea how to stop edge from downloading updates when on metered wifi?  In another word, it would be nice if the metered wifi settings in WIN10 were honored.

this feature is now implemented in Edge Version 89.0.726.0
