Legacy Edge had a feature where you could navigate back and forth between pages using a two-finger horizontal swipe on the trackpad. It functioned the same as swiping horizontally with your finger on a touchscreen to navigate back and forth between pages.
New Edge lets you use a touchscreen, but not the trackpad for this purpose. It should be added back in because page navigation was lightning fast with this feature in, instead of having to move the mouse up to the back/forward buttons or right click.
