This is another proof that Microsoft Edge respect user privacy and user experience.
Users would have great compatibility and privacy.

This specific feature that the OP is talking about is not exclusive to Edge.
so it's not proof of anything.
it's simply coming straight from Chromium and pretty useless.

@Kam yes actually like @HotCakeX have said, this adblock block any ads who is bigger than X Mo and who isn't by Google, so 0.00000000000000001% of the ads on internet.
So that or nothing ... if at least they let us add ou own list, but no it's not in the interest of Google to do that.
I hope yo see a true adblock like in the mobile version but i don't think they will do it 😕

SolutionWe have to see and Microsoft Edge might do a better job.
Obviously, Google won't block ads from Google which are most ads in the internet while Microsoft Edge has no limitation on blocking ads from Google.
However, as I mentioned, we need to try and compare.

I've been trying since the new Edge, almost 2 years ago. like me and others said, it's useless.
ublock origin is the best option.
no one is talking about Google ads, Google is simply one of the companies that runs adds, there are thousands more.
