When using the Inline-Reply feature, the keyboard shortcut for making text bold is the same as for opening Advanced Search; CTRL+SHIFT+F.

While in the Inline-Reply mode, making text bold is expected but Advanced Find opens instead.

Hi @Robert Sparnaaij thanks for reporting it. We will investigate it and get back to you on it. Can I just confirm the version and build number of Outlook you are using? Thanks Staff

Hi @Stafford Quaid,

This was discovered in the Semi-annual Channel; Version 1803 (Build 9126.2295)

I reckon it also applies to previous releases and might even go back all the way to Outlook 2013 when Inline-Reply was introduced. I can't verify that at the moment though but you probably have the means to although I guess it is too late for a possible backport to Outlook 2013, haha (but maybe 2016?).

Hi @Robert Sparnaaij, I'd like to inform you that the original keyboard shortcut conflict was resolved. Unfortunately, this led to a different conflict, which will not be resolved for the time being. But the dev team is currently preparing a new layout that will affect hotkeys and accelerators (both keyboard shortcuts). And they're working on a tool to fix dup-hotkeys. So, if we're lucky, all this and similar issues will be resolved in the near future. Thanks, Janna
