Question - How to keep track of Office 365 updates

Copper Contributor

Greetings,

I am looking for a good way to keep track of Office 365 updates. I know I can view this web page daily, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office365-proplus-by-date, but I was hoping for a way that would notify me versus having to go look.

I have bookmarked (the bookmark that the page offers) the page, will that send updates? Is there any RSS link I am missing maybe, or is there just a better way to keep track of it.

Thanks for any insight and help.

I have the RSS feed from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap  going in to a teams channel which I review.

We also pull message center alerts in to our centralized logging tool and alert on all "plan for change" posts and assign those tickets to the admins responsible for that technology area.

Microsoft have provided some other ways to stay up to date https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/admin/manage/stay-on-top-of-updates?view=o365-worldwide - but for completeness here is the table from that page:

FeatureDescriptionHow to use
Message centerLearn about official service announcements and feature changes. You can read these messages in the Microsoft 365 admin center, the admin mobile app, or receive a weekly digest in email. Share these messages with others in your organization when you see a message someone else should act on. You can also use the Service Communications API to retrieve messages.Sign in to the admin center or admin mobile app. Select Health > Message center. Select a message to read or share.
Change the services you see messages about or opt-in to the weekly digest by choosing Edit preferences in the new admin center or Edit Message center preferences in the old admin center. This is also where you can opt-out of the weekly digest.
