It seems like the updates are coming out kinda late for Windows. I found that my computer was just updated for this issue, but some applications like Microsoft CRM 3.0 aren't updated. Why so late?

The windows update has been available since earlier this year, but was just "pushed" from the windows update site (where computers using autoupdate download from) this month. For CRM, please watch the following KB article -
