What is the best way to determine if the MSI installation of the Windows Mobile patch for DST 07 has been applied? When using a cab file the patch shows up under Remove Programs, however with the MSI it does not.
A:
Quick and dirty, do Start, Settings, Clock and Alarms, check to see if you have a GMT-8 Tijuana, Baja California timezone. Make sure that you change the timezone to some other time zone, close the applet, open it again and change it back to make sure the device is actually using the DST2007 rules.
