Can I run the Exchange calendar update/rebasing tool without affecting the server, any calendars, users, etc.? I’d like to get the config part done ahead of time (i.e. a completed and correct “mailboxes_1.txt”) since there is so much else to do at once.
A:
You can certainly do the prep work ahead of time: Assign an account with SEND AS perms to all mailboxes; Get the Exchange DSN's of the users. You can run the tool against a test account without it running against all your users, you just need to modify a config file so it only runs against a single mailbox and not all your users
