SharePoint for frontline workers?

Is anyone out there really pushing SharePoint as a tool for non-office workers (I'm thinking corporate sales staff, customer service, distribution or manufacturing)?

Is the mobile SharePoint app good enough to bring news to the right people, or to bring people to the right documents?

I wouldn't say so - it does the job if they have the app and notifications turned on, but part of it is the engagement and understanding how they work i.e. is email part of their regular working day etc.?

You should have a look into Viva Connections for getting news, services and documents to your frontline workers. A lot of stuff is currently developing there and that´s the way your use case would be best answered.
Thank you Richard. Sadly, the client's priorities have changed in the last month, but I am going to continue to explore Connections on my dev tenant.
