If you’ve never checked out the PAL tool, head over to http://pal.codeplex.com and check it out. It’s a tool for analyzing Perfmon data, which spits out nice reports and explanations. It’s really handy for those times when you’re not sure which counters to collect, and what the proper thresholds are.
The 2.0 release makes the change from VBS to Powershell and .NET 3.5. The IIS Log parser and Office 2003 web controls are no longer required. Special thanks to Clint Huffman for releasing such a great too.
