Does CoPilot 365 read "blocked" emails, spam, etc.?

Copper Contributor

I am trying to minimize impact to my organization from spam/junk emails.  Does CoPilot have the ability to exclude that type of content?

My assumption would be no. Given that copilot follows the same content access restrictions as your apps in Microsoft 365. So blocked emails would not be able to be accessed. I tested it in my environment to check if it would have access to the emails in my junk mail folder. It can summarize an item in the junk mail folder however is unable to craft a response unless it is moved out to a different folder. Hope this helps!
