How to Get Noticed by Recruiters

In this session, Pam Policastri, veteran recruiter for Fortune 500 companies, tells you about things she and other corporate recruiters wish you knew so they can find you when they look for candidates. Wondering what recruiters are looking for on your resume? Confused about how recruiters use LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media? Whether you’re actively looking for a job, or just trying to create an attractive presence for a great opportunity, Pam will tell you the best (and worst) practices she sees every day in the ITPro recruiting world.

Pam Policastri is a Senior Recruiter at Expedia Group, where she focuses on roles in IT, security, software development, and data science. She began her career in software engineering at Microsoft and spent 11 years testing software and managing teams of software testers, delivering products such as Office.com, MSN.com, and Microsoft Money. Pam then pivoted into HR, and for the last 12 years she’s been helping great people find careers at Microsoft, TripAdvisor, and Expedia Group. Outside work, Pam enjoys singing, traveling, and doting on her nieces and nephew.
