Making the Most of LinkedIn

LinkedIn is one of the most important and valuable tools in any job search AND can be used to build your professional brand.  Recruiters and hiring managers use LinkedIn daily to find candidates for their open positions. Prospective clients use LinkedIn to find service providers.

If you have ever wondered how to take advantage of LinkedIn and how to use all the bells and whistles it has to offer, here's your chance to learn!

Lora Poepping, President of Plum Coaching & Consulting and a recruiter for 20 years, will show you all the tips and tracks for using LinkedIn in a quick hour workshop. Lora has been featured by LinkedIn's corporate during their initial company marketing campaign.

Lora Poepping is the President of Seattle-based Plum Coaching & Consulting (www.plumseattle.com), a personal, one-on-one job search coaching and HR consulting firm. Plum's clients have included senior level executives, those currently employed but looking for a change, women and men returning to the workforce and recent college graduates. Lora has successfully empowered job seekers for years in tech, non-profit, and other industries, with the belief that the candidate can control the process, rather than the process controlling the job seeker.

Hi @Cathy Moya is this in place of the 12pm 4th Thursday APAC meet up? :) Thanks!

@LR_2019 no, not in place of! @Sonia Cuff and @Jess Dodson run the APAC call. I run the US call, which is the 4th Friday.

@Cathy Moya Oops! Thanks for the reply Cathy. I was struggling to find the APAC details. Appreciate your help :)

@LR_2019 That's because the APAC organiser is HOPELESS at organising this call in advance - my apologies!
