Dear Team,
I have SCCM 2010 (in a VM) using SQL 2012 SP4 and now i need to upgrade the SQL to 2017.
SQL 2012 is installed on a physical server and now i need to format that server and reinstall new OS and planning to install SQL 2017 as fresh (formatting is doing because the server is slow and need to remove some unwanted software). Before that i will backup the SCCM database from SQL 2012 and after the installation of SQL 2017, i will restore to SQL 2017. I will provide the same to the server and same instance name after new installation.
Will this way work or i will face any issues ? Kindly help me as i need your advise on this.
