MECM site migration Testing

I have a small MECM version 2010 site that we are migrating to new updated hardware, OS, SQL and MECM version 2103.  I would like to test the migration of a few objects to a test site before I do the production migration. 

Does MECM support setting my current production site as a source hierarchy for the test installation and migrating objects, and then when I get the new production site setup configuring it as the source hierarchy in the production site for object migration?

Hi,
Yes, it's fully supported. You can migrate from the same or lesser version.
