Device object re-created after OSD

Hello.

I dont know if this is expected or not but when a client in my environment has been reinstalled with OSD the resource id is new for the device object. Is that correct?

how you install the machine ? is depend on.. is this a vm and the MAC Address is Change this could me normal. if the machine has any Kind of changes on the Hardware is normal..

Is this a standalone primary or do you have a CAS? Where are the devices provisioned? I had an instance where the devices were provisioned on the CAS and when they were assigned to a Primary site this caused a new object to be created, which would kick off another OSD.
