Convert a .Msi to .Msu

¿Is there a way to convert a .msi installer to a windows update (.Msu) installer??

what the reason to do that ? the MSU is only for Windows Updates and the MSI should normaly used for Application deployment and repair etc. that is one of the Highlights from MSI (self repair, components and feat.)

May be is good to use the Windows Update, to install, update or repair, when Windows Intaller Service could not be accesed.
