Hi Office International Community!

We are looking for feedback on how the new version of localized (non-English) Skype is landing in your market. We are running a contest from May 7th to May 20th to find language issues on localized versions of Skype and are giving away a $100 Amazon voucher to the top 3 contributors for highest creation of new, original posts.

How to install the Skype app and set language:

Using any browser, visit http://www.skype.com/ or use the free Skype app from the App Store or Play Store. If you are new to Skype, have a look at the help content from Skype Help.

Set your language: In Skype, click on your profile picture, click or tap on ‘Language’, select your native language, then move back to apply the changed language setting.

How to enter...

For purposes of this contest, each contestant can enter by clicking “Start a new conversation” in the Competition space of the Office International Community on Tech Community and posting an issue in a localized build of Skype with the relevant details where applicable:

  • Description of the issue encountered
  • Language affected
  • Screenshot of the issue
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • OS or Platform (e.g. Windows 10, Windows 7, Android, iOS, Mac, Web)
  • Build Version #
  • Current translation
  • Suggested translation and reason(s) for change
  • Corresponding English Text (if known):
