We are back with 'Wednesday Community Ninjas Life' where we write about a Microsoft Community Ninjas Common practice that we think is great. Today we will understand and learn How to Write a Blog Post in Microsoft Tech Community.


What is the Microsoft Tech Community?


The Microsoft Tech Community is a place to interact with IT Pros, Developers, and end-users along with Microsoft. The focus of the site was initially on Office 365 but now encompasses Azure, Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS), and many other Microsoft technologies.

How to Write a Blog Post in the Microsoft Tech Community?


Are you an existing author of the Community Ninjas blog and already have an access to write the blog post then just follow the below steps and write your 1st blog post? If you are not an author and don't have access to write the blog in Tech Community, don't worry, we have opened a door for all interested authors who want to contribute to the community with a quality job. Login to Microsoft Tech Community


The website address for the Microsoft Tech Community is

Login with the credential added to Community Ninjas Blog tenant. As highlighted below screenshot click on Sign In to proceed further.

After login into Tech Community, we'll see our profile details like the below screenshot.

Create A New Article


We will see a button 'Create New Article' which will help us to write an article on Tech Community.

Like the below screenshot, the new window will appear where we have to write the details as per each section, like Article Subject, Teaser (Summary), Message (Body), Label, Tags, and SEO.

Once all the details have been added, we can save the post. If the case has any validation error related to HTML, it'll show on the page and we have to fix that accordingly. We can do multiple changes to the draft post and once we are done with all the changes, we can submit it for review by clicking on the button 'Submit for Review'.


Note: Post button will be appeared for Blog publishers only. If you don't have publisher authority then you'll not see this button.

We can see all the drafted posts under the Blog dashboard, and we can edit the post till it has been sent for review. Once the post has been sent for review the status of the post will change to 'Awaiting Review'. After a review is done by blog editors/publishers, the status will be changed accordingly.
