Hi,
Is it possible to restrict a yammer user in a private group; from deleting his/her own posts created.
Use Case -
We are using yammer internally as a way for staff members to raise issue to IT Support.
When we receive a post ---> we tag to relevant person --> he then tags next in line for any approval----> finally it gets resolved.
We need to keep records of all such changes; and not allow the original user to delete the tread.
Thanks.

@Hiran jayasundara this isn't possible as it would require changes to the code on the back-end. Would recommend to mention this in the group info section. The other option you have is to use Flow to duplicate the thread. You then at least have the copy of the original one when they do delete it.

Teams allows you to prevent users from deleting or editing posts ... now with a 5000 user limit (stepping into Yammer territory) it might be an alternative out of the box.

@Pooya Obbohat Thanks for the reply....
Will Yammer dev team consider a suggestion to add this option to their code :)

@Hiran jayasundara you can share the idea on UserVoice https://yammer.uservoice.com They added this option to Teams, so I can imagine that they might eventually add this to Yammer as well. It would be an optional setting for admins anyway.
