Link from Outlook task/appointment to the D365 entity that created it

When we create a task/appointment from D365 and it is synchronized with Outlook, only the title and description are copied in Outlook. That entity in D365 could have more data such as the account, contact, etc. When Outlook notifies us the expiration of these activities, we haven't this information and need to search it in D365 manually. It would be nice to have access from the Outlook task/appointment to the D365 that originated it. The most basic would be to add it link to the first line of the description or to the beginning/end of the title. Another possibility would be a specific field. Thank you.

Feature suggestion/request "Gradual application deployment option" Description: Under assignment, additional to "as soon as possible" and "on specific date" ("Installation deadline") add 3rd option "gradual deployment" Similar to the Featire Upgrades policy where you can specify gradual ugrade release. Set a sart date, set a End Date, set days between groups. Systemw will tak all assigned devices/users and divde into groups for each deployment/release day

The max number of followers and followings list in user profiles is 150, any more than that is not displayed. My suggestion is to increase this number.

Blue Light reducing setting, Brightness/Night light COLOR WHEEL Pinned to task bar or desktop. Movement of mouse around the color wheel to easily and quickly select an eye comfort level as needed. The Brightness & Color display / Night light setting is great for adjusting to a comfortable eye comfort level and minimizing blue light. However, throughout the day as the environment and light changes, constant toggling between the brightness and night light settings is necessary and time consuming. It would be great to have something like a "Brightness/Night light Color Wheel” that can be pinned to the task bar or desktop. With the movement of the mouse around the color wheel you can easily and quickly select an eye comfort level as needed. Many I talk with express frustration over blue light that is causing eye fatigue, strain, and new lens prescriptions. I am surprised to find that many do not know how or where to adjust settings for eye comfort. Thus, the brightness color wheel would be a welcomed and easily assessable feature.

It would be nice if we could link the tasks with deadlines/dates we create in the to do app to our outlook calendar so that they are better synchronized together. Also the ability to switch from one app to the other is a bit of a struggle. On one hand outlook calendar amongst other nice features, allows me to have a broad overview of things that need to be done during my week . On the other hand to do allows me to have a very basic but clear view of all my tasks by category and to very easily check/uncheck what's done. A combination of both things would be very cool

Our clients prefer to use third party mail filtering software. Mail filter software is designed to reroute email coming into 365 through a connector for filtering then routing back into 365. Microsoft 365 anti phish policy is catching email before it goes to the third party filter and sometimes after it is received back as well. We need the option to be able to turn off all default anti phish mail security features as these are not even required in these scenarios with third party filtering! Our client are getting impatient about this as they continuously have to monitor and release email from the Microsoft quarantine that doesn't even work properly. It picks up legitimate emails as well!

When creating an event in Outlook can we please have an option to add travel time to an event?When someone is organizing their day and or is invited to an event that is not virtual and requires driving, it would be nice to require a travel time option to be added before the event begins. Right now we have users that continue to use other apps as their calendar because of this one feature.

Microsoft Tech Community comes with valuable resources and I believe contents of this community should be fully integrate with new Bing Chat feature. The idea could start with sharing contents and questions and answers. And could expand on more features like search for Community Users and so on.

The inspiration for this idea came from the Community Manager's response: " We report to our product teams regularly on posts that are still awaiting replies, there is no 'flagging' of these posts available to users. We are still trying to get our 'Community insider' initative off the ground which may give the opportunity for a select group of key influencers an opportunity to flag discussions that are needing a reply but until then feel free to flag any pressing topics in the community discussion area. " as often confirmed responses by users are missing, or from the Microsoft team – the MTC Community Insider Group -> could mark responses as a solution, or add responses as MTC Insider. Of course, this requires more careful thought and ideas on this topic! I am asking for opinions and support of my idea.

I participate in discussions in which, there is a lack of explanations and answers from Microsoft employees, -> this causes frustration and negative comments that should receive a competent response (preferably as a Blog), which refers to the indicated problem -> regarding the Microsoft product. Please support this idea! :)

Hi, For what I have read, the only possible way to open an Office document in its Desktop App is to build an url using the Office URI Schemes. The issue is that we cannot use that kind of URL in an hyperlink column in SharePoint. Even in a JSON, it does not work. The change should me to allow those kind of URLs in SP column of type Hyperlink. Thanks, Christophe

The Tesla Phone: This idea was originally for Microsoft, and I still think it has the potential to turn the Microsoft phone franchise around. There would also be a market for an Apple "PC Phone" and if you wanted to take a risk Tesla could fight with Google for the table scraps. Today, a high-end smartphone is as powerful as the average desktop was a few years ago, and something I have been dreaming of for over twenty years is a Windows phone, which you can dock to a terminal, on which it would run the PC version of Windows (12). You can already attach a mouse, a keyboard, and a monitor to an Android phone, but Tesla could make a big deal of it. Your company could develop a phone that would serve something that looked like Android on the machines built in screen and Linux on its peripheral monitors. You could then sell docking stations as an option that would allow the user to run the PC versions of LibreOffice and Gimp and what have you. ... .. .
