"Email me when someone replies" doesn't work

Hello,

 

There's a little checkbox 'Email me when someone replies' under each blog post. I have it checked, I post comments, but I never got a single e-mail notification to the blog posts I commented.

 

What's the point of this thing? Does it work? 

 

All my subscription settings are at defaults (way too many for a broken feature).

My e-mail is @outlook.com and there's nothing in Spam or filtered otherwise.

I have restarted my PC, etc :)

Hi @Vadim Sterkin ,

 

Welcome to the Microsoft Tech Community. I have had a review of your settings and I think I have found why you are not receiving these emails.

As you can see above you have the 'Don't send me any community emails' setting ticked.

 

You can see this by clicking your profile picture -> My Settings -> Email

 

Let me know if you have any further problems or this doesn't solve it for you. 

@Allen,
I have the exact same problem where I have the email me when someone replies marked, and yet I don't get any emails at all, and I have checked with our blocking mechanisms and nothing has arrived from this site.
I checked the setting you showed for Vadim and it is not marked for me.
Why would I not be getting any emails to responses ?

The only difference on my settings page is that the option "Show confirmation page for posts" is not marked.

 

Other then that it's similar to yours.

Now you can check this setting - see all:

Ok, That settings was indeed marked. I removed the mark and will see if it makes the difference.

But check all the settings that are below in this last screenshot, there you have to customize it to have according to your requirements
I've gone over them all and changed what I think is relevant.
