Experts Latest Activity Purpose

@Allenwhat is the purpose of the Experts section in the Latest Activity on the Home page. It doesn't really show me the latest activity of the experts? While it does show some old post that have some recent activity by others, it is not doing a very good job of helping find the new stuff that experts have posted. I think it would be helpful if this could be reworked by your devs to provides something more useful.

Also, what is the definition of an Expert in this context?

Another great question, sorry it took so long to get back to you.

Experts in the community are replies by:

• MVPs
• Users we manually specify as experts in a given category
• Administrators

Been wondering if we should employees - would you expect to see employees replies in the 'Experts' filter?

Thanks for the response. Yes, actual MS staff should be considered experts. MS contractors (v-xxx accounts) should not be.
