Do the new communication sites bring the functionality to easily unpublish any page while you're directly in that page? Same goes for delete.

Currently you have to manually go the SitePage library to do these actions.

I don't believe this is in the near-term roadmap but we are gathering feedback and actively prepared to make changes if needed.

Good suggestion for our backlog however for @Sohail Tariq & @Alyssa Danesh . Please let us know if you'd prefer we work on this vs deliver some other new capability (e.g. Likes on page). This helps us with prioritization.

you can also use the discard changes feature if you want to roll back to the last published version. This is available in the page authoring experience

I think being able to go back to prior versions is important. Once you've published, there is no way to revert to a previous version. I've had to do a lot of re-work when I've made mistakes. I think this is critical for non-IT users. Way more important than Likes in my opinion!

You should be able to see Version history of the page and restore a specific version from Pages library "Pages" today. You can also delete a page from there. Making the UI for page history and revert to specific version better/ integrated with Page command bar is in backlog.

Having the ability to access version history or even delete from the quick actions area (or whatever it's called now) is going to be important for content managers.  Not requiring them to go back into the Site Pages library for ease of use would be nice since they can edit, publish or discard changes from there.

Please make sure to open the page and publish it after reverting to specific version from page library, as revert to a specific version restores it as a minor version to currently published version. Thanks.

Thanks Brian. We think so too, so it's in the backlog but a little further down right now. Please keep the feedback coming.

@John Sanders

I think the ability to publish/unpublish pages would be really helpful for the people managing the sites and help the news feeds stay relevant.
When on a page you are editing, not having the ability to delete the page (or jump to the content library side to delete it) takes a lot of time and a lot of clicks.

With it being a communications site, the news only keeps on growing, so finding the appropriate page to delete or scheduling a good time to delete it becomes difficult to manage.

I think these sites get more visitors/users if they stay fresh - and this functionality would really help with that. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it makes it up the priority list. Many thanks!
