A new look Service health dashboard is launching starting with First Release customers and rolling out for everyone else by the end of February. This comes with:
"A new view that separates major, business-critical outages from others and splits them into two categories: incidents and advisories. When you click an incident or advisory, you’ll see a summary that surfaces the most relevant and critical details, including the number of users in your organization who are impacted for Exchange Online incidents. (This functionality will expand to other services over time.)"
This I think is a welcome improvement, I personally never liked the calendar view for the history of incidents, which is now more like from the classic admin portal and you can click by service to sort related incidents. Seeing the number of users in the tenant impacted will be a big plus as well.
