When trying to create or delete a content type on a content type hub or any other action that renders an error message that states something already exists or something is still in use, the location of the where the existing "something" should be displayed in the error message so the developer/admin doesn't have to spend several hours digging for it. No offense Microsoft but I think that's kind of a "commence sense" feature. Why do you always make simple actions difficult?

Out of curiosity: Is the content Type you are trying to delete from the Content Type Hub being used on another site? If that's the case, you have first to stop using the Content Type on that site and then delete it

Exactly right Juan but I know if you have multiple libraries and sites this is not easy :)
