We have a "pay-as-you-go" Azure subscription. We get a bill every month based on our usage.
We also have Microsoft EA agreement. Recently I came to know that our licensing department receives an email with subject: Microsoft Azure Service Monetary Commitment Balance and Unbilled Overage Summary and it has a table with $ amount in a table like this:
Monetary commitment balance |
Unbilled overage charges |
This is not a bill. This is a notification of usage. If you would like to view the full usage summary that breaks down these balances by month and service, please log into the Microsoft Azure Enterprise portal.
Can anyone please explain what Azure Monetary commitment balance is? And if it is not a bill what is the meaning of that balance?
