Upgrade from DirSync to Azure AD Connect (AADC)

Hello all,

We are in process to upgrade the current DirSync apps to the Azure AD Connect apps (AADC) to meet the Office365 requirement.

 

We managed to export the current setting from the DirSync apps and had import it for the AADC installation. But an error occur when AADC tried to get the enterprise administrator credential. As shown in the below image.

 

The new server that host the AADC is also a virtual machine with Windows 2012 R2 Standard 64bit installed. All the minimum requirement had been installed.

 

Anyone could help to resolve & identify the root cause.

The error is indicating that the server you are on cannot communicate with DCs for xxxxw.corp.

 

Make sure you can contact DC for trying installation.
