We have a mix of Office licenses (mostly Microsoft 365 Business Standard) which gives us Azure AD Free which is totally sufficient for us as we we do not have policies nor need to lock down laptops.  We use ConnectWise Automate to do everything we need for the devices.

As for support from Microsoft for the Azure Active Directory features we ARE using, we cannot use the portal as the only "service types" listed is Intune and Azure Information Protection, neither of which we own.

It's been 4-5 weeks with Microsoft support telling us we had to BUY the $100 a month Standard support, which didn't fix our issue.  I then spent a couple weeks with a Subscription Manager who then stated we can't get support as we don't have an actual Subscription for Azure.  If we have no subscription for Azure, then how are we able to access the portal, create new users, authenticate to Azure AD on a device?

We do not want to purchase P1 licenses just to get support for the free version as that will then add ALL the features we CAN'T use for all 150 users using Standard Office licenses.

I log into the portal with my unlicensed Global Admin Account so is that the issue?  Weeks and weeks of tickets to O365 and no one can help us JUST to be able to create support ticket to Azure.
