Hello!

I'd be happy if someone helps me with this query:
"What is the difference between the Azure on Skytap offering and Azure Virtual Machines?
Is one (or both) Power server offering(s)?"

Thanks!

Hi
The main difference is the hardware and the type of workload .
You can do almost everything with Azure Virtual Machines if you haven't very specific requirements on the type of underlying hardware . Skytap offering is designed to provide the ability (not only that ) to run applications are on the latest IBM Power hardware which is procured and maintained by Microsoft.
