Site Recovery - HyperV with VMM...VMM failover?

Hello, we are doing a POC with ASR and I was wondering if we are replicating and failing over Hyper-V VMs managed by VMM and VMM is a VM on the HyperV host, if the VMM VM should failover to Azure or stay on-prem?

VMM shouldn't fail over to azure please refer below link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/hyper-v-azure-architecture
