"The servicing needs to be scheduled..." after upgrade from 2019 to 2022

I upgraded my (home) installation of Azure DevOps 2019 to 2022.

Now all my collections are offline and when I try to start any one of them, I receive the following error:

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
TF400787: The host 'Exercises' cannot be started. The servicing needs to be scheduled and completed before the host can be started.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

It is not obvious what "servicing" it is talking about or how it could be scheduled (and completed) and why this is strictly necessary to make the collections come online. "Exercises" is one of my collections. I don't know why the error message calls it a "host".

What am I overlooking?
