Migrate VM's to new subscription and vNet

Copper Contributor

I have to embark on a project to migrate resources from a CSP to an MCA subscription. This involved migrating a number of resources including VM's. Due to client pressure we had to make the MCA subscription live and start deploying resources into this subscription. The MCA subscription has seperate vNets with peering enabled to the CSP subscription.

Is it possible to migrate VM's and other resources to the new subscription with the new vNets without too much of drama?

How many VMs do you have?
You could try to use the Azure Backup Recovery Vault to restore into the new VNET?
I don't have access to an environment at the moment to confirm, but take a look at Resource Mover: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/resource-mover/select-move-tool
