Azure billing with tags and Power BI

Hi. I'm trying to make nice Power BI report from our Azure consumption, but having few problems. Does anyone know is Azure billing data static or dynamic, meaning tagged resources show also on previous billing months after they have later on put in place? Or are the reports static from previous months showing the situation as it was then? Secondly when you tag resources in Azure they are show in alphabetical order, but in billing data tags are in random order so does it mean that they are in the order that they were inputted?

The billing data shows daily as is information, you can not apply tags to resources and have it apply to the past. you can export your data to excel or power bi and sort by tag or resource group. The tag appears with the corresponding resource so i guess you can say it's random.

Thanks for the reply, which I was afraid was the situation. Well have to do some custom filtering before billing catches up the new tags next month.
